by Lisa Lin MCU International Business and Trade Program received first place for 2013 outcome assessments among the International Higher Education Scholarship Programs from International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF). Last Friday (3/14), President Lee represented MCU to accept this honor at a meeting held by the TaiwanICDF. TaiwanICDF established the Taiwan International Cooperation Alliance (TICA) with its partner universities amd set up an operational platform under the TICA framework to manage and improve the scholarship programs. MCU International Business and Trade Program joined TICA in 2008. Then Journalism and Mass Communication Program joined in 2012. Currently MCU has 68 ICDF scholars from ROC’s diplomatic allies and friendly countries, such as El Salvador, St. Lucia, Swaziland, Vietnam and so on. Since 2009, MCU received first place honors for outcome assessments among International Higher Education Scholarship Programs three times from the TaiwanICDF.
